Budget Gaming PC Build for Fortnite & PUBG

Learn to build a budget Gaming PC for games like PUBG and Fortnite. Specifications and prices of the pc components are discussed here.

Building a budget gaming PC can be a really complicated process because there is an ocean of components to choose from. A single manufacturer is making thousands of products.

For instance, Intel core i5 10 generations has more than 20 different processors based on frequency and cache memory. If such a vast choice is presented to anyone they would be confused as they have to maintain a balance between performance and cash spent.

There are some cases, expensive does produce better results. But it’s not the case always. In PC-built, compatibility plays a vital role. It is the key to achieving maximum performance.

For instance, AMD Processors require a higher frequency Ram while intel can work fine with low-frequency Ram. So, if we just increase the low-frequency Ram of the AMD processor it will not have any significant improvement in increasing the speed of the system while the same cannot be said for an Intel-based system. Hence, here we are to help you build your budget gaming PC in 2023.

Guide to Building a Budget Gaming PC for Fortnite & Pubg

Processor

Choosing a processor can be really tough as there are enormous Tech giants Like INTEL, AMD, Qualcomm, and many more.

For this Budget Gaming PC build, we choose AMD Ryzen 5 3500x. This processor is a great choice as it has 6 threads, and a base speed of 3.6GHz which can be boosted to 4.1GHz.

Most Processors lag in performance due to their low base frequency so a gaming processor must have at least 3.00GHz frequency.

This is a hexacore processor with a Total L3 Cache of 32MB. This processor comes with a heat sink and fan, thermal paste is already applied on the heat sink so you just have to mount it on the motherboard and it is super easy to install.

Motherboard

After Choosing the processor next step is to select the motherboard.

Choosing a motherboard can be really challenging as there are different factors that we have to keep in mind like Ram channels, M2 SSD slot, size, and many more.

For this specific Budget Gaming PC build, we are going to choose Asus prime a320m-k motherboard.

This motherboard has a certified 5x protection III, it has shear,over-voltage protection, and anticorrosion moreover, it has DDR4 memory modules and this motherboard is compatible with more than 1000 processors available on the market.

Acer Prime a320-k motherboard has a dedicated M2 memory slot for lighting fast SSD to mount. This is an excellent choice for FPS gamers as it can support up to 3200MZ of ram and has a combination of performance and durability as the company claims, it is built to last.

Graphic Processing Unit

This is where most of the money will go, the gaming graphics card.

There is no denying the statement that the more money you put into this component more power you get. Choosing the correct GPU can be tricky so we do not want to spend our whole budget on this while we are left with nothing we also do not wish to make a poor decision so we regret it afterward as this is a budget gaming PC build.

For this Budget Gaming PC, we are going to use Nvidia Geforce GTX 1660 SUPER. This GPU is selected after a detailed analysis and reports from benchmarks like video card benchmark, TechSpot, and many more.

This GPU features Turning shreds technology that enables it to perform 1.4x more efficiently than its previous generations.

Nvidia Geforce GTX 1660 has a 6GB DDR6 lighting fast memory. Further, it supports NVIDIA ANSEL which enables you to capture professional-grade photographs of your games in super-resolution that includes HDR, 360-degree, and stereo graphics.

It enables you to play as well as broadcast your games in super fine quality on your favorite platforms.

Random Access Memory (RAM)

RAM is also a crucial component of PC build and no computer can function without it.

The base frequency is not important if you are using an Intel-based processor but it plays an important role when using an AMD Base processor.

For this build, we have used AMD Ryzen 5 processor so we have to choose a ram that has a higher frequency.

ADATA XPG GAMMIX D30 DDR4 Memory Module serves the purpose and is more than efficient.

We are going to choose(8X2) 16GB DDR4 Ram.

This will boost our gaming performance and provide us with an unparalleled user experience.

Storage

The more storage you have the better but nowadays there is a lot of improvement in this sector as well.

For our build, we will choose Transcend M.2 SSD 830S SATA III 6Gb/s 256GB TS256GMTS830S.

This will provide us with enough storage to install games and software that will run smoothly as butter for our budget gaming PC.

This storage alone is not sufficient so we will require a separate HDD for extra storage so we will use Seagate 1TB BarraCuda SATA 6Gb/s 7200 RPM 64MB Cache 3.5 Inch Desktop Hard Drive ST1000DM010.

The Amazon links for both the drives are SSD and HDD.

Power Supply

As the name indicate this is a powerhouse for your PC. There are many reputable companies manufacturing power supplies like Seasonic, Corsair, Thermaltake, etc.

There are two factors while buying a power supply your Consumption and Bronze Rating. Firstly we need to supply enough power to the CPU to work properly and secondly the 80plus bronze rating.

For instance, our System requires a 550-watt to function properly, but we will choose a 600-watt power supply so that if we upgrade our GPU and CPU in the future, we do not need to spend extra bucks on the power supply.

For this budget gaming PC built, we recommend Thermaltake Smart Pro RGB 600W Bronze.

This provides all the juice and has an RBG fan so it has an excellent aesthetic appeal.

Case

Well, this is the last component of the build and it is as important as the rest of the PC. There are thousands of cases available to choose from and there are a couple of things to keep in mind while choosing a case.

Firstly, the space available to fit all of the components and enough room for ventilation as this system is not liquid cool.

Secondly, we need our case to look good.

For this purpose we recommend using MSI – MAG Forge 100R – Mid-Tower PC Gaming Case.

This case has two 120mm fans and ample space for our system moreover it has a tempered glass panel and RBG running all over it and it is one of the most beautiful cases available on the market.

This case is a one-time investment as it can even support liquid cooling.
